The purpose of these services are to enhance clinical skills by teaching creative tools that tap into a deeper understanding of personal narratives. This can be applied to institutions in addition to individuals.

  • We can deliver seminars on how to implement narrative work with clients for social service and health care agencies. They can be requested any time. Paper Lagoon can provide a sequence of training events, or a singular training event through in-person engagement or virtual learning.

History of Paper Lagoon LLC:

Laura Schoepfle, (Owner,) has worked with a myriad of demographics in the following fields: Individual and Group Treatment, Domestic Violence Services, Shame and Guilt Resiliency, Child development, Individual therapy, Foster care and family reunification, case management, Severe Mental Illness, and program management.

Narrative psychology is destined to help vulnerable populations, and is the key to reducing clinic based barriers between providers and the community. Stories aid in authentic communication, and Paper Lagoon seeks to draw from key structures of human development and personality theory to reinforce this practice. By involving evidence-based practice, Paper Lagoon will demonstrate the ways Narrative Psychology can be remarkable.
